T Bar Southampton, a collaboration between seasoned restaurateur and T Bar owner, Tony Fortuna and Derek Axelrod, the former owner of Mexican eatery Teqa, will make its Hamptons debut the week after Memorial Day weekend.
‘We’re excited to bring a younger sister version of a T Bar to Southampton,” Axelrod relayed. “We’re expecting a mix of everyone from the fashion crowd and celebrities to loyal clientele, neighbors and those seeking a great meal and atmosphere.”
Helmed by chefs Ben Zwicker and Segundo Pelaez, the Hamptons outpost of the Manhattan eatery will offer modern American steak, seafood and sushi.
“Once we open our doors, we will be working on some light live music entertainment and will start with a contemporary jazz band,” Axelrod noted.
The cocktail and wine program will be of major focus, with a late night reverse happy hour with specials on food and drinks at the bar.
“We will cater to the demographic on given nights and will be sure to update everyone on our social channels once we have the full lineup!” Axelrod explained.
There will be several T Bar signatures, including their famous T Bar-Steak Bar offering sumptuous cuts of Black Angus Steak, Aged NY Strip, Prime Aged Rib and Porterhouse, as well as several new dishes, like a Surf N’ Turf Lobster Roll, Tuna Burger and Pulpo Thin Crust Pizza. T Bar Burger Bar favorites like Prime Aged Agnus, Amish Turkey Burger and Lamb Burger will also be offered and there will be new lighter seafood and sushi options.
“Additionally, looking to bring in art collaborators and will partner with some fitness studios and wineries to keep something refreshing and new throughout the season,” Axelrod added.
T Bar Southampton will also offer a beach basket special, with food, beach towel and hat, later in the season.
