Two legendary restaurants, NYC steakhouse Smith & Wollensky and Montauk seafood eatery Gosman’s, have teamed up for a unique, limited partnership that can be found at both iconic spots until Sunday, August 25.
“We’re so excited to collaborate with a Hamptons institution as beloved as Gosman’s – I’ve been coming here for years,” noted Michael Stillman, President & Founder, Quality Branded.
The special collaboration, a Surf & Turf, features a dry-aged Cajun bone-in ribeye that is accompanied with delectable shrimp and lump crab meat along with local Wainscott Farms corn in a beurre blanc sauce.
“We wanted to highlight the ingredients we know and do best in a collaborative way and it yielded in this twist on the classic Surf & Turf. I’m using a cajun seasoning for the steak, which is the perfect foil to the natural sweetness of the seafood and the butter sauce,” explained Craig Koketsu, Executive Chef, Quality Branded.
The Surf & Turf is $55 and will be available at both Gosman’s (500 West Lake Drive, Montauk) and Smith & Wollensky (797 Third Avenue, New York).
