Over the next couple of weeks, bourbon lovers have a lot to toast to. National Whiskey Sour Day (Monday, August 25th) is right around the corner and then celebrate all of September because the end of summer brings National Bourbon Month (September). So as beach season comes to an end and fall foliage starts popping up, have a celebratory Maker’s Mark cocktail.
Maker’s Mark Sour:
Directions: Shake Maker’s Mark Bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry and slice of lemon (optional) and serve.
