Toast To The Start Of Summer With These Sensational Seasonal Sips

Are you absolutely overjoyed that the official start of summer (Wednesday, June 21) is here?!? Well, break out the popsicle molds or shaker and whip up a refreshingly cold beverage to celebrate.

Sparkling Cherry Champagne Pops:

  • Popsicle Mold
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • 1 bottle Sparkling Ice Black Raspberry
  • 1 bottle Champagne or Sparkling Wine
  • 1 container of fresh Raspberries, chopped

    Directions: Fill your trays or molds with half Sparkling Ice and half champagne, topping each with a scoop of chopped raspberries. If using ice cube trays cover tray tightly with tin foil. Poke a popsicle stick through the foil into each cube. If using an ice pop maker place the handle sticks into the molds. Place in the freezer for about 2 hours or until frozen. This recipe works with any of your favorite Sparkling Ice flavors and fresh fruit.

    Strawberry Lemonade Sangria:

  • 3 oz. Barefoot Moscato
  • 1 oz. Orange Liqueur
  • 2 oz. Lemonade
  • 2 oz. Lemon Lime Soda
  • 1/2 Lemon, squeezed
  • 2 slices Lemon
  • 1 sliced Strawberry
  • Mint, for garnish

    Directions: Add orange liqueur and lemonade to shaker with ice and mix. Pour into glass and top with lemon lime soda and Barefoot Moscato. Add lemon and strawberry slices and garnish with mint.

    Corona The Lightest Sunset:

  • 12 oz. Corona Light®
  • 1.5 oz. Casa Noble Crystal Tequila®
  • 2 oz. Orange Juice
  • 1 oz. Grenadine
  • Orange Wheel, for garnish

    Directions: Combine Casa Noble and orange juice in a glass with ice. Pour grenadine down inside wall of the glass (don’t stir). Fill with Corona Light. Garnish with orange wheel.

  • 2 large Basil Leaves, chopped
  • 1 Lemon Wedge
  • 4 oz. Snowbirds Vintners Rosé
  • 1 oz. Orange Vodka
  • Simple Syrup, to taste
  • Crushed Ice
  • Citrus Twists, for garnish

    Directions: Place basil and lemon in a shaker and muddle well. Fill shaker with crushed ice, then add Snowbirds Vintners rosé wine, orange vodka, and simple syrup. Shake, and strain into a Martini Glass. Garnish with citrus twists.

  • .75 oz. Campari
  • 2 oz. Bulldog Gin
  • .75 oz. Cinzano 1757
  • 2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1.25 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 2 whole Strawberries
  • Orange Twist, for garnish

    Directions: Blend all ingredients (making sure tops of strawberries are cut off) with 1.5 cups of ice until smooth and pour into a tall glass. Garnish with a strawberry and orange twist.

    Summer of the Spritz:

  • 1.25oz Seagrams Watermelon Vodka
  • .75oz Carpano Bianco
  • .75oz fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 dashes Grapefruit Bitters
  • Top with Prosecco
  • Grapefruit Twist, for garnish

    Directions: Built in glass. Add ice. Top with prosecco and enjoy!

  • 2 parts elit Vodka
  • 3/4 parts fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 parts Simple Syrup
  • Mint Sprigs, for garnish

    Directions: Combine elit, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and three mint leaves in a rocks glass. Fill glass with crushed or pebble ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.

I swear at the zenith of sunrises and sunsets, I feel the presence of every soul that ever existed or ever will. The east-end sky is so big and full of naturally evolving clouds, colors, and angles that it exemplifies spiritual power. There has to be a higher hand at play. One cannot create such an endless changing canvass without forces that no mortal can truly harness or even explain.
