The allure of the Hampton Designer Showhouse interiors at the Gala Preview Cocktail Party, presented by “Traditional Home” magazine to benefit the Southampton Hospital, was so strong, that given the choice between drinks and hors d’oeuvres or touring the rooms, the houses were full. Not to worry. Our glass of wine was waiting for us when we rejoined the large party on the lawn.
