I have never heard of a restaurant that advertises and sells food from other restaurants, but that’s exactly what Hampton Eats does. It’s a remarkable place. They offer food from Villa Italian Specialties, Paul’s Pizza, Stewart’s Seafood, Hampton Coffee, The Montauk Bake Shoppe, and others.
When I walked in, I didn’t fully grasp what was happening until it was explained to me, and immediately I got excited. All of these spots are staple good spots; to have them all in one place is quite exciting. It also made me excited for the store in general because the previous bagel store that existed was such a Hamptons institution for so long. Many locals wondered what would land there. We all hoped it wouldn’t turn into a $40 take-out lunch spot.
Locals need normal places to eat and feel like people, and Hampton Eats delivers. You can grab an inexpensive slice, or you can grab a massive deli sandwich good enough for two, or you can cater a full-on party with the food they offer. They even have frozen yogurt!
When you go, do what I did and try something from The Montauk Bake Shoppe. You won’t regret it. The place is a 10.
