Now that we’re through daylight savings time, we can start looking forward to some spring events! I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping for a sunny rest of the month amidst the downpour of the past few weeks. As we approach Saint Patrick’s Day, we can’t forget that Egg Hunts are right around the corner, too. So dust off those bunny baskets in the closet and get your running shoes on because we have you covered with all things EGGstravangant and all things EGGploring coming up this month.
On Saturday, March 23, there are a few events to choose from. The Children’s Museum of The East End will host their Egg Hunt from 10am until 12pm. For nonmembers, there will be a $25 fee, and for members, there will be a $5 fee. CMEE boasts, “kids will design and decorate their own flower pots, plant spring flowers, and search for “Eco” Eggs containing treats and other goodies hidden inside and around the Museum.”
The Ladies Village Improvement Society of East Hampton will host their Easter Egg Hunt from 11am until 12pm at Herrick Park in East Hampton. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join in searching for the golden eggs and take pictures with their very own Easter Bunny.
Later that day, a massive egg hunt will be held for the public at the Amagansett Youth Park. Registration will begin at noon. Each family is asked to donate one dozen plastic eggs and a package of non-peanut individually wrapped candies.
On March 30 at 11am, the Montauk Fire Department, Candied Anchor, and Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to bring us the 8th Annual Montauk Eggstravaganza. This event is for children ten years old and below. Bunny ears and baskets are included in this fun-filled event. Meet us at the Montauk Green!
