Calling out all beer fanatics! This is an event you don’t want to miss! The Art of the Brew celebrates the Long Island craft brew scene at the Parrish Art Museum on Friday, March 31st at 6pm. Experience a variety of beers from eight breweries. Learn about the art of beer-making from the brewers, explore the galleries and enjoy live music and horse d’oveures.
Participating breweries—several established in the last four years—include Twin Fork Brew Company (Riverhead), Kidd Squid Brewing Co (Sag Harbor), übergeek (Riverhead), Springs Brewery (East Hampton), Moriches Field Brewing Company (Center Moriches), Blue Point Brewing Company (Patchogue), Long Island Farm Brewery (Manorville), and Montauk Brewing Company. Top Hops will be on hand with their Half Pint Tap Truck—a three-wheeled Piaggio Ape Classic imported from Italy, offering draft beers from Blue Point Brewing Company. For the sober curious, Wölffer Estate is offering its Spring in a Bottle sparkling nonalcoholic rosé.
Guitarist Mike Gary and bass player Steve Shaughnessy will perform live; hors d’oeuvres are provided by Elegant Affairs Caterers and The Golden Pear Café and Catering, with free chips from North Fork Potato Chips. Tickets are $75, and $55 for Parrish Members.
