Enjoy Earth Day by using these eco-friendly products which help make the world a “greener” place.

1. At Home Facial: In partnership with American Forests’ Global ReLeaf, Origins ( www.origins.com ) will plant a tree for each limited edition product purchased from April 21 to 28, 2013. Treat yourself to an at home facial with the Frothy Face Wash, Nature’s Gentle Dermabrasion, Active Charcoal Mask to clear pores, and Overnight Mask to quench skin’s thirst.

2. Enjoy Eco-Friendly Vino: The STLTO collection (stltowine.com) created by Italian/Canadian Sarah Liberatore includes Prosecco ($14.99), Pinot Grigio ($10.99), Chardonnay ($10.99), and Malbec/Merlot ($10.99). Liberatore wanted an environmentally-friendly production plan at the winery where STLTO is created and every bottle is produced to these Eco Chic standards.

3. Walk It Out: TOMS Earthwise Classics Collection ($54.00, www.toms.com) is made of recycled, vegan and sustainable materials and for every pair purchased a pair is donated to a child in need. Choose from pink, green, orange or grey.

4. Don’t Waste While Washing: Roux Maison (www.rouxmaison.com), a collection of eco-friendly home laundry products, cleans clothes effectively while lessening your carbon footprint. Comes in Essential, Delicate or Sport Detergent.

5. Accessorize In Style: High end Italian fashion label Marni has created a collection crafted out of recycled, bottle plastic (PET). The handcrafted Runaway Short Necklace ($ 520.00, www.marni.com) has alternating colored and transparent resin spheres with small cups in gilded metal and strung onto black satin ribbon.

6. Swap Your Morning Cuppa Joe: Rethink that caffeinated beverage and reach for a cup of Numi Organic Tea (www.numitea.com). Numi works diligently to reduce their impact on the earth and their practices save 5,202 trees, reduce water usage by 2,332,740 gallons and cut down on net green house emissions by 470,475.

7. Anti-aging Skincare Without The Harsh Effects: Luxury skincare brand Restorsea (www.restorsea.com), provides the much desired anti-aging properties women want and is great for all skin types. Restorsea uses an enzyme which rejuvenates skin and restores your youthful glow without unwanted harsh side effects like redness, itchiness and flaking skin.

  • The Sea Like You’ve Never Seen with South Fork Salt

You may have seen more than the usual amount of whales this summer, but you probably did not see as many or from the same view as Tim Regan, @Southforksalt. Tim is a renowned photographer who specializes in all things nautical. More than his technical prowess—the guy is a whiz with a drone—Tim’s passion and love for Long Island’s marine life is the right lens to reveal the murky magic all around us on the East End. @southforksalt

  • Winter in Austria Wine Dinner at Nick & Toni’s

Nick & Toni’s is one of the most iconic restaurants in the Hamptons. Jeff Salaway and Toni Ross opened the space in East Hampton in 1988, and it immediately garnered well-deserved praise. The restaurant is rooted in farm-to-table Mediterranean cuisine, the philosophy being to source everything possible locally, and the menu is inspired by simply prepared seasonal produce with an emphasis on natural flavors. @nickandtonis

  • Sixty-Something: The Dance of the Eternal Souls

The east end has multiple charms that dazzle those who pause to notice. If you are disposed to spend time at beaches or boating, you understand the variety of powerful sunrises and sunsets. I call these skies the dance of the eternal souls.

I swear at the zenith of sunrises and sunsets, I feel the presence of every soul that ever existed or ever will. The east-end sky is so big and full of naturally evolving clouds, colors, and angles that it exemplifies spiritual power. There has to be a higher hand at play. One cannot create such an endless changing canvass without forces that no mortal can truly harness or even explain.
