It’s no secret that Taylor Swift has been spotted on the East End the past few summers, and her latest Keds commercial proves just how much she loves hiding out in the Hamptons. Swift’s 2015 “Own Your Style” ad campaign for Keds was secretly filmed at The Surf Lodge in Montauk, where America’s singing, songwriting sweetheart hung around in the store’s signature wicker seats, sporting her favorite shoes and a sweet smile.

The company revealed their “little secret” in a series of tweets starting in late January. Tay then confirmed the rumors by posting a photo of herself in the Montauk storefront via Facebook. Known for her unique personal style, the “Own Your Style” campaign featuring the “Blank Space” singer encourages the Keds community to embrace who they are through their style.
“I think being self confident about what you’re wearing has a great deal to do with how you carry yourself and how you carry yourself has a great deal to do with how you’re perceived,” noted Swift during the commercial.
Swift became a spokesperson for the brand in 2012, when the company released a red sneaker at the same time her album, “Red,” made its famous debut. Her most recent venture, “1989,” transformed Tay from country girl to pop-star. The album, which has spent several weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, was the best-selling record of 2014 in the United States.
We hope to see more of T-Swizzle this summer, but, until then, at least we can enjoy her dancing around The Surf Lodge and enjoying our beautiful summer hot spot.
