“Alana and I are both from New York,” shared Rachel Lavipour, Chief Operating Officer of Phyllis + Rosie. “The East End has always been an important part of our lives, as we’ve been coming out here (independently with our families) since we were kids.”
Starting Friday, June 12th through Sunday, June 14th, it’s a fashion focused weekend at The Surf Lodge. Up-and-coming jewelry brand, Phyllis + Rosie, is teaming up with Smoke x Mirrors eyewear for a pop-up shop. Alana Blank and Rachel Lavipour, the talented duo behind the brand, will be at The Surf Lodge to help attendees find the perfect piece, and Phyllis + Rosie customers will receive a very special gift with purchase.
“Montauk is one of our all-time favorite places, full of great food, beautiful beaches and a great energy,” noted Lavipour. “We are thrilled to share our love of our brand with the East End for the first time, and at one of our favorite spots to boot!”

On Saturday, join Nicky Zimmermann to celebrate the Zimmermann x The Surf Lodge collaboration. Once again, the Australia-based women’s line has teamed up with the Montauk hotspot for a custom staff uniform, and Zimmermann has also designed a bikini in The Surf Lodge 2015 print, which will be sold exclusively at Surf Bazaar. The collaboration kickoff will feature a performance from Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and DJ set from Solange Knowles.
The weekend will wrap up with a performance from Canadian indie pop band Alvvays on Sunday.
