The Class By Taryn Toomey Is Back In The Hamptons

The Class by Taryn Toomey will once again take up a summer residency at The Barn in Bridgehampton this summer, starting Memorial Day weekend.

“I’m looking forward to being back at our summer home at The Barn in Bridgehampton,” Taryn Toomey, The Class Founder, shared. “It’s a different experience than our NYC studio, where one immediately reintegrates into the hustling streets of the city.”

For the holiday weekend, the transformative workouts will be led by Taryn herself as well as other beloved instructors. The Class is a music driven practice where classgoers exercise the body to engage the mind.

The Hamptons outpost offers a light-filled studio that embraces the same holistic wellness philosophy of the Tribeca location. At the Bridgehampton space, Palo Santo will cleanse the air, there will be beautiful hand-made crystal light fixtures decorating the walls, and peaceful design embellishments that highlight the airy, beachy feel of the Hamptons. Additionally, natural skincare brand Weleda will be available, and the summer will also feature exclusive, new The Class by Taryn Toomey partners in the wellness, beauty, and lifestyle.

“My goal with this studio was to incorporate the lighthearted, free-spirited feeling that comes when one steps into the open land,” Toomey reflected.

Through a series of repetitive simple cardio and strength-based exercises, students are invited to witness their response to whatever arises during the movement. This can be anything from physical discomfort to unexpressed emotions leading the participants through a journey of engaging with the body as a lever to the mind.

“We can’t wait to bring The Class back to the beach this season,” Toomey added.
