There is nothing better than spending the day at the beach soaking in the hot Hamptons sun (while wearing sunscreen of course) and cooling down by taking a dip in the Atlantic. Hamptons beaches require parking permits between May 24 through September 1 but day passes are available at most.

The seasonal hotel features a luxury boutique and beach-side restaurant and bar where the Sunset Beach Rosé André Balazs “Réserve” Wölffer Estate is a must try. Top Beaches In The US:
Coopers Beach (268 Meadow Lane, 631-283-0247) is Southampton Village’s only lifeguard-protected beach. Coopers was rated the top beach in the US by Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman a.k.a “Dr. Beach” in 2010. There is a pavilion with concessions, bathrooms and showers. Seasonal parking passes are available for residents at Village Hall and daily passes are available for $40 per day at the parking lot.
Main Beach (101 Ocean Avenue, 631-324-0074) in East Hampton is also lifeguard-protected and was recently revealed the top beach of 2013 on “Dr. Beach’s” list. It also took home the number 3 spot in 2012. It also has a pavilion with bathrooms and snack bar. Daily passes are available and cost $25 per day on weekdays and a limited number of parking tickets are sold daily on weekends and holidays.

Catch a Wave:
Ditch Plains Beach located two miles East of Montauk Village attracts surfers from all over the East Coast. Lifeguards are on duty from 10a.m. to 5 p.m. at the beach which has restrooms, outdoor showers, and make sure you grab a snack at the Ditch Witch. Town parking permits are required.
Enjoy the sun and don’t forget to reapply. Looking like a lobster is not a good way to start the Hamptons season.
