Shoes. Personally, I believe a girl can never have too many, so when Bloomingdale’s invited Hamptons.com to the 59th Street store to make a customized pair of handcrafted sandals at the Capritouch pop-up sandal shop, I obviously said yes.
Located in the shoe section on the fourth floor, shoppers can stop by to create a completely unique, gorgeous pair of shoes, which are made on the spot within 10 minutes of you designing them. The one of a kind sandals are crafted by skilled artisans from the original shop, which is located on the Island of Capri.
The process begins by choosing between three heel heights, 10mm, a slightly higher 20mm and a 40mm cube heel. Then the fun begins. Shoppers have endless combinations with sandal strap options featuring materials such as goat leather, nappa and python. To complete the design, they can add precious stones, corals or genuine Swarovski crystals.

For our sandal, we chose a metallic silver thong flat with a crossover metallic silver braided strap, and metallic silver ankle straps. We added a little bling with five clear Swarovski crystals.
