This summer, Galet, the French luxury loafer brand known for their eye-catching motifs, is launching Tour de Galet, a mobile retail pop-up store that will journey through the Hamptons and Montauk. The adventure will begin Memorial Day weekend and continue throughout the summer.
“We are excited to introduce Tour de Galet to the Hamptons, particularly as we have developed a strong clientele along the East Coast,” expressed Jonathan Horesmans, Galet Co-Founder. “Tour de Galet is a natural extension of the interactive customer experience that we strive for and encompasses the element of discovery that characterizes our brand.”
The brand’s iconic 1940s vintage Citröen H-Van will bring Parisian flair to the Hamptons and offer a unique retail experience for shoppers. The store will showcase Galet’s signature loafers, displayed in an interactive, unforgettable environment featuring French lawn furniture, games and music.

“We are always looking for ways to express the playful charm that is central to our brand identity and the Galet van perfectly captures that spirit,” noted Javier Goggins, Galet Co-Founder. “Tour de Galet is distinctive from traditional luxury retail as it brings our product to the lifestyle of our consumer and encourages them to interact with the shoes with the hope that they will uncover something unexpected.”
