Mixology is now in the Hamptons. The family owned women’s retail store has added another Long Island location in Westhampton Beach. Opening over Memorial Day weekend, the store’s vibe was inspired by the classic Westhampton Dune Road beach homes with a boho flair. The white wood floors and dream catchers hang in every color across the ceiling, giving the store the perfect cross between beach resort and boho chic. With the building’s expansive porch stretching across the entire front of the store, bohemian benches and chairs have been strategically placed for the perfect seating areas girls can be seen lounging with ice coffees every weekend.
Mixology clothing company was founded in 2009 thanks to a collaboration between the Edwards and Shapiro families. Brother and sister duo, Jordan and Gabby Edwards, teamed up with husband and wife, Jon and Rene Shapiro for the Long Island based company. For the stores, the Edwards’ embraced old-school business fundamentals passed down from the duos’ father Glenn Edwards. “Never taking any shortcuts and treating our employees like customers,” noted Jordan.

Mixology’s concept is for a contemporary fast price point bridging the gap between large fast-fashion retailers like Forever 21, Top Shop, Zara and H&M with boutiques such as Intermix, Scoop and LF Stores. The store is host to 60 designer labels including Jet by John Eshaya, For Love and Lemons, Rails, Whitney Eve, Show Me Your Mumu, Gab & Kate, Darah Dahl and plenty more. Each store contains the same designer labels all the way from Hamptons and to Scarsdale, New York.
