The Holidays are right around the corner! It’s never too early to start shopping, so don’t miss your chance to visit an Indonesian Textile and Holiday Sale, featuring the finest crafts and textiles of Southeast Asia, at Ashawagh Hall.
The Textile and Holiday Sale will feature Ikat weavings from Southeast Asia, masks, artifacts, textiles, baskets of all shapes and sizes, wood carvings, tapestries, gongs, accessories, hand-carved ornaments, sarongs, teak furniture, Gamelan and musical instruments, Balinese kites and flags, silver jewelry, housewares, clothing, beaded purses, stone Buddha sculptures, shoes, and much more. There’s something for everyone at this sale!
“Southeast Asia comes to the Springs for their yearly extravaganza featuring the finest crafts and textiles of Southeast Asia,” remarked a participant. “Part of the proceeds will go to an orphanage in Bali called ‘Baits-EL Christian home’ in Klungkung. Most of the items at the Holiday Sale support cottage industry. Having done this for the last 20 years, we have a large following that we have become part of Thanksgiving plans.”

The Indonesian Textile and Holiday Sale will run on Friday, November 18th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, November 19th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 20th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 23rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, November 25th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, November 26th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, November 27th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
