If you’re ready to do some major holiday shopping and looking for unique presents, a trip to the Country Parlor Holiday Folk Art & Gift Show at Hallockville Museum Farm in Riverhead is a must, but the winter wonderland will be open for just three days.
“The Country Parlor Holiday Folk Art & Gift Show has been a North Fork tradition for many years. Instead of having vendors at separate booths our historic Naugles barn is transformed into a literal ‘country parlor,’ with Christmas trees brimming with handmade ornaments, and vignettes featuring wood carvings, snowmen, stockings, baskets, knitted goods, soaps and so much more, all handmade by local artisans,” shared Lisa Pepe of Hallockville Museum Farm. “The barn feels wonderfully cozy and is the perfect way to start the Holiday Season! “

“Hallockville’s gift shop, Miss Ella’s Gift Shop, will also be open in our Hudson House, which will feature yarns, fabrics, handmade flannel stockings, vintage finds, ornaments and Christmas décor, as well as beautiful Polish pottery,” Pepe said. “The Hallockville Quilt and Stitch Group will be on hand, demoing quilting techniques, selling fabric bundles and raffle tickets for a beautiful handmade quilt.”
