Frances Valentine, the handbag, shoe and accessory lifestyle brand founded by long-time friends and collaborators Kate Spade, Andy Spade and Elyce Arons in 2016, has opened a seasonal outpost in the Hamptons. The pop-up shop is housed at Sagtown Coffee in Sag Harbor.
“We are so excited about the Sag Harbor store because the community has been part of my families life for more than 25 years,” Arons noted. “My kids have grown up taking surf lessons from Shane Dyckman and when Shane and I discussed opening Frances Valentine in SagTown Coffee, it felt like the perfect fit.”
The Sag Harbor pop-up will boast a variety of items from the Frances Valentine collections, including basket bags, canvas beach totes, and sandals, as well as items that are exclusive to the pop-ups and online, such as jewelry and the Love, Katy collection, which showcases vibrant caftans, tunics and Mexican dresses that were inspired by personal items from Katy’s closet.
“The summer collection of baskets, caftans, canvas totes and jewelry is so well suited to the beach lifestyle and to Sag Harbor,” Arons noted.
The store will also feature a curated selection vintage beach books, candles, French pool floats, soap on a rope, cocktail bar tools, solar candles, and hats – both straw and canvas.
“We could not have received a more warm welcome from our neighbors and the Sag Harbor Community,” she added.
In addition to the Hamptons pop-up, Frances Valentine also has a pop-up location at 793 Madison Avenue in Manhattan that will be open through Memorial Day.
The Frances Valentine Sag Harbor outpost will remain open through Thursday, October 31.
