Stoney Clover Lane — a travel accessory line designed to spark self-expression — has introduced its new fall Corduroy Collection. This limited-edition collection features four fall colors, including Toasted Marshmallow, Cinnamon Sugar, Pomegranate and Blueberry Pie. The Corduroy Collection is offered as totes, pouches, scrunchies, patches and other accessories.
I caught up with Co-Founders and Co-Creative Directors Kendall Glazer and Libby Glazer about their new fall Corduroy Collection at Stoney Clover Lane, the most popular products and their new styles.
What inspired the new Corduroy Collection at Stoney Clover Lane?
KG & LG: Corduroy just feels so quintessentially fall! It’s the perfect material for the seasonal transition, and we couldn’t wait to introduce this new fabrication to our collection.
What has been the most popular Corduroy Collection item or color so far?
KG & LG: The feedback and response to the Corduroy Collection has been amazing. We’re seeing all of the colors and products perform exceptionally well, but Cinnamon Sugar is definitely a fan favorite. Everyone seems to be attracted to this updated neutral for fall. And of course, pomegranate. Pink is always a classic for us!
What inspired the new product style of the Mini Classic Tote and the new letter style of the Metallic Puffy Letters?
KG & LG: The Classic Tote Bag is one of our most beloved and versatile styles and we wanted to create a slightly smaller option that’s ideal for everyday use. The Metallic Puffy Letters were designed as a great letter that really pops on all of our styles. They pair especially well with all of the new Corduroy Collection colorways as well as our core nylon and upcoming fall and holiday collections. When we design new letters it’s always important that they work with not only that one collection but all past and future collections as well.
What is your favorite aspect of the Corduroy Collection at Stoney Clover Lane?
KG & LG: The autumn-themed tones are so much fun! We approached the season’s exclusive colors as a Stoney Clover Lane twist on fall while still keeping a pink in the mix and adding in other colorways in autumnal tones.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
KG & LG: When developing this collection it was very important to us that we really focused on perfecting our corduroy to ensure it felt luxe and elevated for our customers. We are so passionate about this collection and we are excited to reveal what’s next for fall!
