The Sag Harbor Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary’s annual Girls Night Out typically kicks off the Hamptons holiday markets – and this year will be no different. However, instead of an in-person shopping extravaganza at the Fire Department, the 2020 iteration will take place virtually and offer three weeks of online shopping.
The 8th Annual Girls Night Out will encompass more than 20 local vendors, including artists, authors, beekeepers, candlemakers, chefs, jewelers and yoga instructors, who will highlight a plethora of unique items, such as apparel, books, curated gift sets, food, essential oils, honey, makeup, masks, wine and much more. 2020 participants will include Bonac Bees, Hamptons Handpoured, Love For Mama, Mary Kay, Hamptons Scentsy, JBYoga/dōTERRA Essential Oils, JMAC Candle Co., One Hope Wine, Sailors Beach Walks, Usborne Books and many more.
“We are excited to offer an alternative shopping experience online this year that will allow vendors to still showcase their products and our community can shop local!” Ann Marie Blodorn noted. “I also like the fact that rather than being forced to shop one particular night for a couple of hours, people will be able to access the site any time of day during a three week period.”
The 8th Annual Girls Night Out will debut on Friday, November 27 and the digital shopping experience will culminate on Friday, December 18. Many featured vendors are offering a selection of options to retrieve purchased goods, including local drop off, pickups and shipping.
Typically, upon arrival, event attendees are asked to either donate a non-perishable item or make a donation in support of the Sag Harbor Food Pantry. This year, vendor registration fees will be donated to local charities, including the Sag Harbor Food Pantry. Many of the vendors will also be donating a portion of their proceeds to a charity of their choice.
“I am just trying to figure out how to budget myself with all the great vendors participating this year,” Blodorn added.
