For the third RE/DONE retail space, the denim company will open an outpost in East Hampton.
“With all our stores the goal is to mix the mid-century California aesthetic with a slightly residential feeling, all while upholding our commitment to responsibility,” said Jamie Mazur, RE/DONE Co-Founder. “We find vintage furniture and use classic mid-century materials: oak shelving, mint green linoleum flooring, powder coated Richad Neutra red accents, etc. to create the overall design motif.”
The Hamptons store will feature a selection of RE/DONE’s top selling products, such as one-of-one reconstructed Levi’s and vintage Marketplace collectibles. There will also be exclusive, one-of- a-kind denim, as well as accessories, and home goods.
“We are so excited to give RE/DONE a physical footprint in the Hamptons, a place with parallel culture to our own,” Mazur added.
In 2014, Mazur and Sean Barron set out to take what’s old and make it new and fashionable through RE/DONE, which since its launch has upcycled more than 113,200 pairs of vintage Levi’s, and in turn saved more than 1.75 million gallons of water and saved more than 200,000 discarded garments from ending up in landfills. The clothing company has also joined forces with notable American heritage brands like Hanes and Champion to release its own collections that utilize responsible production methods.
RE/DONE is scheduled to open on May 5.
RE/DONE is located at 58 Newtown Lane in East Hampton. For more information, visit shopredone.com.
