“Opening day will kick off our 18th season of high-goal polo played by the world’s top-ranked players,” said Peter Brant, founder of Bridgehampton Polo Club. “Nacho Figueras will be back again playing this season and he has always been a wonderful ambassador for the sport of polo and Bridgehampton Polo Club in particular.”
Bridgehampton Polo Club returns to the Hamptons for an action packed summer on July 19, 2014. The afternoon will feature Polo icon Nacho Figueras playing for Bash Kazi’s KIG team against Peter Brant’s White Birch team. Town & Country Magazine is hosting the match, with sponsors including Lancôme Paris, Jet Edge, Escada, Joie, Casablanca Polo and Sunbrella.
“I’m thrilled to be playing at Bridgehampton again this summer,” said Figueras. “There’s nothing like playing polo in the Hamptons – where the top players, charities and top brands come together under the tent. I’m looking forward to a competitive season ahead.”
The 2014 Polo season will take place six consecutive Saturdays, starting July 19 through August 23, at Two Trees Farm. Alessandro Bazzoni’s CT Energia and Joe DiMenna’s Equuleus will join White Birch and KIG in the competition, where top international players including Nick Roldan, Magoo Laprida, as well as Mariano Aguerre and Hilario Ulloa will take the field.

This year, the classic Hamptons VIP experience will be available all six weeks. On Opening Day, Town & Country Publisher Jennifer Levene Bruno will host the VIP tent, where invited guests will enjoy a reception featuring luxury brands, passed hors d’oeuvres, French desserts and exclusive wines from Spire Collection. A limited number of private, field-side 10 x 10 tailgate tents are available for purchase throughout the Season.
All matches are open to the public and gates open at 2:30 p.m. with matches beginning at 4 p.m. General admission is a $40 donation per car to the Child Care and Recreational Association.
