On Monday, October 19th, the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center is hosting a Charity Golf Outing at a very exclusive Bridgehampton course.
“This is an amazing opportunity to play on one of the Hamptons’ most beautiful courses and give back to the community at the same time,” shared Shelley Berkoski, Director of Development at the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center. “The funding for this tournament will benefit the hundreds of injured animals we rescue, treat and release each year.”
Golfers will have the chance to channel their inner Jordan Spieth during an afternoon on the greens of the Hamptons golf club. Attendees will also be treated to brunch and a little relaxation after hitting the links during a post golf reception.
Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center’s mission is to preserve and guard local wildlife by offering rehabilitation services to animals in need and to educate the community about the issues that threaten its abundance and diversity. East End animals that the organization rescue and take care of include song birds, waterfowls, raptors, turtles, deer, opossums, squirrels, bunnies, foxes, and snakes.
Check in for the Charity Golf Outing begins at 10:30 a.m., with a 12 p.m. Shotgun start. Admission is $550 per golfer.
