Montauk Library Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony For Expansion And Renovation Project

On Friday morning, Montauk Library Director Denise DiPaolo welcomed (properly socially distanced) guests to The Montauk Library Expansion and Renovation Building Project Groundbreaking Ceremony. According to Library Board President Joan Lycke, the event was a celebration of the Library’s Trustees, past and present, including one of the originals, John Keeshan, who was in attendance. East Hampton Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc and NYS Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. expressed their appreciation of the Library and its essential role in the community on its 40th Anniversary. Among the attendees were the project’s returning Architect Raymond Beeler (Gallin Beeler Design Studio) and representatives from SCC Construction Management and Patriot Organization Construction Services.
