Natural wine is a thing, but what exactly is it? At its most basic level, natural wine is made with organic grapes in the same way wine was made thousands of years ago, no chemical additives whatsoever, end of story. Wine today is allowed to have up to 70 legal chemicals that winemakers can add. But natural wine shuns all that. It’s natural.
Stephanie Uribe, who grew up in Springs but left for Miami and is now back in town, is VERY into natural wine. So much so that her and her long time friend and business partner, Via Wohl, decided that they would start selling it. The high energy duo began selling natural wine to friends and family. “We started it small, but we were very serious about it. We knew we were onto something with it and we really enjoy setting up natural wine parties and teaching people about the wine,” Uribe explained to me.
They are all about service and are a small enough operation where you can get Stephanie or Via showing up at your front door with a case of wine and a big smile. Their entrepreneurship has been going on in the middle of the pandemic of 2020. “It was a scary time, but we are just so passionate about it.”
That passion is infectious and the duo has been able to establish a loyal customer base and excellent relationships with natural wine producers throughout the country.

“And then we got the idea of selling the wine on the internet through our website,” Stephanie beams.
That’s right, you can just go to natouteast.com and order natural wine online through their local company and they will have the wine shipped directly to you. “We are like the natural wine Amazon. But smaller, obviously,” Stephanie laughs.
If you are interested in purchasing natural wine, you can do so on their website and you can also reach out to either Stephanie or Via through their website as well. They are happy to talk wine!
