Summer PetFest Returns To Bridgehampton

Treat yourself and pet to a day of exciting activities on Saturday, June 29 at the Hamptons Petfest and Paws Across the Hamptons Paw Walk benefiting the Pet Philanthropy Circle located at the Bridgehampton Historical Society Corwith Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Philanthropy Circle’s Founder, Jewel Morris, explained, ” PetFest is about bringing fun, joy and knowledge to our community. Our goal is to unite rescue organizations so that we can communicate efficiently with each other and to the public at large.” Morris continued, “It’s the perfect outing to share some quality time with our pets. Whether it is walking in the Paws Across the Hamptons pet parade, free micro chipping by ASPCA, bringing food and pet toys to Subaru’s “Love A Pet” outback donation drive benefiting local rescues, perusing the exhibits, or meeting new friends, PetFest is great entertainment and downright fun.”

The day kicks off at 10 a.m. with professional pet acts, exhibits, and over twenty local and national rescue organizations offering onsite pet adoptions and memberships.

At 11 a.m., Paws Across the Hamptons Paw Walk with lead sponsor Andy Sabin, Amy Ma, and their four legged friends Panda and Geisha . Early Registrants will receive the official PetFest gift bag.

From 12 to 2 p.m. have a dog-gone-good-time with Chef Michael’s and Chef Rocco DiSpirito for a communal dining experience at the world’s largest dog-friendly communal dining event. Attendees will receive a complementary, gourmet lunch designed by DiSpirito and your dog will dine on treats from Chef Michael’s Food Truck for Dogs.

Other activities include meeting actor and Junior Ambassador to both the Humane Society and the Pet Philanthropy Circle, Lou Wegner. All youth are able to join his organization, Kids Against Animal Cruelty. Subara of America, Inc will also be joining the fun where pet lovers can donate pet supplies to benefit a local shelter in need.
