The rain held out on Saturday, July 19, 2014, for a special evening at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, where Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, hosted Let’s Misbehave. The eighties themed bash featured a performance from cover band, Jessie’s Girl, who played smash hits like Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” “Rock of Ages” and “American Idol” alum, Constantine Maroulis also took the stage.
Guests fully embraced the fun flashback theme. Co-chair Eric Villency sported a gold ensemble, looking like he could have been part of the cast of “Miami Vice” as he sipped on the refreshing specialty from Patron. “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Sonja Morgan wore a stunning gold cocktail dress complimented by an updo. Joey Wölffer donned paint-splattered jeans that looked like they were straight out of the eighties. Nicky Hilton also supported the cause. Dr. Dendy Engelman, a certified dermatologic surgeon, had one of the best outfits, complete with stiletto heels, leg warmers, and a leotard. It was definitely a crowd favorite.
“Tonight represents yet another incredible night for Love Heals,” said Love Heals co-founder, Dini von Mueffling. “It is so great to watch people have so much fun in support of our mission to educate young people about HIV/AIDS.”
