The Montauk Playhouse Community Center is hosting their annual Diamond in the Rough Gala on Saturday, August 2, 2014, from 7 to 11 p.m. The gala will honor Alice Houseknecht and Christine lu and Andrew Suckling during an unforgettable night of dancing, drinks, dinner and auctions. This year’s honorary co-chairs include architect Nancy Mack, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, actress Julianne Moore and director Bart Freundlich.

All proceeds from the evening benefit the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation’s continued restoration and redevelopment projects. The Foundation is committed to the East End and dedicated to raising funds to create and maintain a community of arts, education, recreation and human services to Montauk and its surrounding communities.
