The Animal Rescue Fund of The Hamptons (ARF) will celebrate its 40th anniversary with their Bow Wow Meow Ball on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the ARF Adoption Center. Guests will enjoy dancing and dinner as they support East End’s leading animal adoption center and their rescue efforts.
“The Bow Wow Meow Ball will be a fantastic party. It’s a wonderful way to bring together our supporters and help raise funds for ARF while having fun,” Executive Director of ARF, Sara Davison said. “This year’s event is truly a celebration as we honor our past presidents who helped ARF become what it is today, one of the leading animal shelters on Long Island.”
More than 400 guests are expected to attend, including past ARF Presidents Sony Schotland, Raymond Cortell, Jill Caras, Doug Cassidy, William P. Rayner and Polly Bruckmann. The evening will honor ARF’s 13 past Presidents and their continued commitment and dedication to the Rescue Fund.
Over its 40 year existence, ARF has rescued and cared for over 20,000 cats and dogs and has successfully placed the animals in appropriate homes with loving families. This year’s event will also present an opportunity for on-site adoption as a group of ARF cats and dogs will be attending.
