The Perfect Earth Project will hold its Third Biennial Family Picnic and Concert on Saturday, September 3rd from 3 to 7 p.m. The celebration will include musical performances and locally sourced artisanal food in support of the Perfect Earth Project’s toxin-free mission.
“End your summer with a bang at Perfect Earth Project’s Third PRFCT! Biennial Benefit at Cindy Sherman’s house in Springs,” invites Jess Tonn, Director of Communications of Perfect Earth Project. “This family-friendly afternoon will feature organic food, artisanal cocktails, wildlife displays and supervised lawn games for kids, toxin-free landscape advice, and a star-studded concert overlooking picturesque Accabonac Harbor.”

This year’s performers include Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie as well as Suzanne Vega, Rufus Wainwright, Jenni Muldour, GE Smith and Teddy Thompson. Isaac Mizrahi will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Martha Stewart, Calvin Klein, Kim Cattrall, Frederica Marchionni, Lisa Phillips, Alexander Vreeland, Alexandra Shiva, Shelly and Vincent Fremont are among expected guests.
The benefit will take place at the Springs home of Cindy Sherman. Sherman’s property is situated on Accabonac Harbor. Surrounded by protected marshlands, the locale is a natural jewel and the perfect setting to celebrate and share Perfect Earth Project’s mission and programs.
The picnic will feature local chefs preparing signature dishes with local and organic ingredients. Artisanal cocktails featuring Casa Dragones tequila will be served alongside local wines and craft beers.
The event will also include nature-based children’s activities, a wild animal petting zoo from the Quogue Wildlife Rescue, lawn games, and toxin-free garden advice from the Perfect Earth Project experts.
“Bring your family, bring your friends, and bring your lawn questions,” added Tonn.

The Perfect Earth Project is a registered nonprofit organization that promotes toxin-free land management for the health of people and the planet. They raise awareness about the dangers of synthetic landscape chemicals and provide education on how to have beautiful, safe properties without them.
Tickets to the Third Biennial Family Picnic and Concert are $100 for children, $500 for a Friend Ticket (attendees 21 to 30-years-old) and $1,000 for a Supporter Ticket.
