YMCA of East Hampton will host Legacy in the Hamptons at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa on Saturday, August 27th from 7 to 10 p.m. to celebrate the community and YMCA members that have made an impact in the area.
“From providing summer camp scholarships to hardworking local families, continuing our work in drowning prevention for youth and adults and improving the lives of people affected by cancer through our Livestrong program – Legacy In The Hamptons supports these critical local services as well as honor the organizations that positively impact the community with the YMCA,” explained Daniel Sierra, Teen Center Supervisor at YMCA of Long Island.
Guests at the charity auction and dinner will enjoy food prepared by Gurney’s, cocktails from the open bar, live entertainment, the beachfront views the resort has to offer, and also a “Best of the Hampton Experience,” presented by East End Taste.
Sweet’tauk Lemonade, i-tri and Hampton Lifeguard Association will be honored during Legacy in the Hamptons.
All proceeds from the benefit will support the YMCA of East Hampton RECenter Scholarship Fund that helps support local youth and their families. Through the program, children get to enjoy the joys of childhood and families are able to support them when school is in and out of session.
Tickets to Legacy in the Hamptons are $100.
