On Saturday, June 10, American Heart Association (AHA) will host the 21st Annual Hamptons Heart Ball – “a celebration of creating and sharing.”
Taking place at Southampton Arts Center, the evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner at 8 p.m. and a live auction and dancing at 8:45 p.m. The evening will also feature a special sweet treat from Westhampton Beach’s Sydney’s Taylor Made Cuisine and the East End’s Blue Duck Bakery, who won the chance to present a delicious heart healthy dessert during the American Heart Association’s Hamptons Heart Ball Dessert Challenge at Centro Trattoria & Bar in Hampton Bays last month.
The 21st Annual Hamptons Heart Ball will toast to Lori Mosca, MD Professor of Medicine Emerita and Director American Heart Association Go Red for Women Strategically Focused Research Network at Columbia University Medical Center and Ralph S. Mosca, M.D., George E. Reed, Professor of Cardiac Surgery, Vice Chair, Clinical Affairs, Division Director, Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital Of New York, NYU Langone Medical Center. AHA will also celebrate the Village of Southampton for being a Heart Safe community.
George Benedict, Chair Emeritus of the Board of Seafield Center and Aubrey C. Galloway, M.D., Seymour Cohn Professor & Chairman, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery NYU Langone Medical Center will serve as 2017 Hamptons Heart Ball chairs.
AHA holds the Heart Ball to commemorate the organization’s vital work and mission, its donors and volunteers, and those that have been impacted by AHA’s lifesaving efforts. AHA’s 2016 Heart Ball campaign was tremendously successful, raising just over $71 million nationwide. AHA’s mission is to help the community build healthier lives that are free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Additionally, AHA will host a Hamptons Heart Ball After Party, with an open bar and DJ, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Tickets to the Hamptons Heart Ball begin at $600. Tickets to the Hamptons Heart Ball After Party are $200.
