Calling All Coffee & Dog Lovers: Meet the Adoptable Dogs Of Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation At The Golden Pear Café

It’s no secret that Hamptons residents love dogs and coffee. If you’ve thought about welcoming a furry friend into your life, here’s your chance! Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) is bringing their adoptable pups to the Southampton Golden Pear location the first Saturday of every month from May through August from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

“Our dogs are excited to venture into Southampton Village in hopes of finding their forever homes,” said Kate McEntee, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation Director of Animal Relations. “Stop by and start your weekend off right!”

The unusual circumstances of the last year have increased adoption rates tremendously, but the work is far from finished. The Golden Pear Café is donating 20 percent of coffee sales during the Weekends, Coffee, and Dogs SASF series. There will also be merchandise for sale on site as well.

“And make sure to pick up your Weekends, Coffee and Dogs t-shirt that helps support our shelter dogs!” McEntee added. “Big thank you to London Jewelers for sponsoring this adoption event.”

Additionally, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation is hosting a Yard Sale at the shelter in Hampton Bays. A plethora of treasures will be available to purchase on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
