The official start of the Hamptons season at The Surf Lodge will feature a jam-packed holiday weekend, including performances by Canadian singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco, “contemporary disco” band Escort, Capital Cities, and Tove Lo.
Kickoff Memorial Day weekend on Friday, May 22nd with Canadian singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco. Starting at 7 p.m., listen to “slacker rock” from DeMarco, as he performs his hits like “Still Together” and “Freaking Out The Neighborhood.”
On Saturday, May 23rd, Brooklyn-based “contemporary disco” band Escort is taking the stage. Beginning at 7 p.m., catch modern and lively dance music during the 17-piece line-up, which features “Starlite.”

On Sunday, May 24th, The Surf Lodge owner Jayma Cardoso and gallerist Eric Firestone are hosting an invite only reception and private dinner for artist Jen Stark. The nature inspired artist will unveil a new work over Memorial Day weekend. Also on Sunday, at 7 p.m., stay “Safe and Sound” during a performance from Los Angeles-based indie electro band Capital Cities.
The holiday weekend festivities conclude on Monday, May 25th. At 2 p.m., stop by the celebration of “Montauk Dreaming” by Ben Watts. The new photography book captures the lifestyle and spirit of a summer at the beach. At 5 p.m., Swedish born singer-songwriter Tove Lo will perform her hits such as “Habits (Stay High)” and “Hereos.” The evening will also include a performance from Halsey.
