Life@Nite: Where To Commemorate National Ugly Sweater Day In The Hamptons

Think you have the most heinous ugly sweater? Break it out and attend these Hamptons parties.

Indian Wells Tavern’s (177 Main Street, Amagansett, www.indianwellstavern.com) Ugly Sweater Party will take place on National Ugly Sweater Day (Friday, December 15) from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. In addition to music from a DJ and drink and shot specials, there will be several ugly sweater competitions, with prizes for ugliest male and female sweater, as well as “almost” ugliest sweater.

Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, stephentalkhouse.com) is hosting its annual Ugly Sweater Party on Saturday, December 16 at 10 p.m. Hello Brooklyn – “a hip-hop and pop band from New York City” – is headlining the festive soiree, and yes, a prize will be awarded for ugliest sweater. The Talkhouse is also hosting a Christmas Party, which will take place on Thursday, December 14 at 5 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped new toy or item of clothing that will be donated to a local family in need through the East Hampton Community Council. The evening will feature a film selected by Joe Lauro and drinks.

You can don your monstrosity again at Hamptons Farms (412 Montauk Highway, East Quogue, hamptonsfarms.com) on Sunday, December 17 from 6 to 10 p.m. Attendees will enjoy lite bites, seasonal cocktails, photo props, a DJ, contests with prizes and more, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards purchasing gifts for Toys for Tots.

Conscience Point Promotions and Roses Grove Band are hosting the 1st Annual Ugly Xmas Sweater Party at 230 Down (230 Elm Street, Southampton, www.facebook.com) on Saturday, December 23 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The evening will feature music by Roses Grove and Bathtub Gin.
