“The Southampton Animal Shelter celebrated an early spring gathering of local supporters at Sequin Jewelers in sunny Palm Beach,” noted Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) Board President Jonathan McCann. “The party announced the popular July 18th Unconditional Love summer event which will be held at a Southampton waterfront estate.”

On Saturday, March 7th, Sequin Jewelers of Palm Beach hosted a cocktail party at Sequin’s Worth Avenue Store in honor the Shelter’s 6th Annual Unconditional Love Dinner & Dance. Kim & Linda Renk, Sequin’s owners, hosted the soiree, which was attended by 200 friends and shelter supporters.
Hostesses Cathy Duemler & Jean Shafiroff, Unconditional Love Event Chairwoman, spoke to attendees about the amazing achievements the shelter has accomplished over the past year and attendees even learned a special surprise about the upcoming benefit. “The Gatsby theme was also revealed and the reception was enthusiastic,” said McCann. “The event is expected to sell out at an early date.”
The 6th Annual Unconditional Love Dinner & Dance will feature a Gatsby themed night of food, fun and entertaining music by the Alex Donner Band. The benefit will take place on Saturday, July 18th and all proceeds support Southampton Animal Shelter’s homeless pets.
