Harvest season is upon us and to celebrate the momentous occasion, Wölffer Estate Vineyard is hosting a special fall fête on Saturday, October 6.
Amid the stunning vines of the Sagaponack vineyard, the Wölffer Estate Annual Harvest Party will take place from12 to 5 p.m.
“This year’s event will be quite special for our 30th!” Roman Roth, Wölffer Estate Vineyard winemaker, noted. “We are very excited for some special performances and additions to the event that will have everyone participating and having fun.”
For the milestone anniversary, Wölffer is going all out and this year’s gathering will offer a myriad of exciting surprises.
Hopefully Forgiven is headlining, and delicious bites will be provided by Palo Santo, Rolling in the Dough, and Fresh Flavors. Of course there will be plenty of Wölffer wines and ciders – including the recently released Wölffer No.139 Red Cider.
For those feeling competitive, there will be barrel-rolling, grape-stomping, and a wine-making relay race, while little ones will adore the pony rides, a petting zoo, and hay rides.
“We’re also excited to feature our new Red Cider at the event – what better place to try it?!” Roth added.
Wölffer Estate Vineyard is located at 139 Sagg Road in Sagaponack. For more information, visit www.wolffer.com.
