Floats, dancers, veterans, rock bands, and classic cars filled the streets of Southampton Village on Thursday to celebrate its annual 4th of July Parade. Tourists and residents gathered to join in the festivities and celebrate the anniversary of our nation’s formation. The parade, which is the largest Fourth of July parade on Long Island, began at Railroad Plaza, headed down North Main Street and Main Street before concluding on Jobs Lane.
This July 4th was filled with nothing but enthusiasm, as the parade kicked off with a few cannons. The crowd was feeling the excitement with cannons shooting. The parade wasn’t the only attention drawer; as the local stores were busy bring in business with their fourth of July fun. LF as well as Juice Press were holing sales and samples that any American couldn’t resist. With all the amazing sales and buys, Main Street in Southampton seems to be the one stop street for all your needs.
