Led by Southampton Village Mayor Michael Irving and Hope for Depression Research Foundation’s Founder Audrey Gruss, The Week of Hope launched in Southampton Village at Jennifer Miller Jewelry. More than 45 local business owners placed a two-foot wide yellow statement balloon near their front door to symbolize hope and their commitment to raising awareness for depression and mental health. On August 5th, the final day of the Week of Hope, Audrey Gruss and Mayor Irving will lead a Walk of Hope + 5K Run around Lake Agawam at 9 a.m.
