The Hamptons Fine Art Fair (HFAF), featuring international modern and contemporary art, produced by Hamptons-based ShowHamptons, returns for the eagerly awaited annual event, July 11-14, 2024. The highly anticipated HFAF art marketplace will be showcased in a majestic and architecturally distinctive 70,000 sq. ft. Pavilion complex, built on a raised platform, for rain or shine – on 17 bucolic acres. Galleries will display in contiguous Pollock and de Kooning Luxury Pavilions that are designed for direct and easy guest aisle flow.
With 10,000 expected guests over the four days, (up from 8,500 in 2023), the fair has emerged as the largest cultural event in the Hamptons, as Hamptons-based art enthusiasts embrace, and converge at the region’s most prestigious and longest running arts fair.
With the VIP Opening Night selling out annually with 3,500 guests, HFAF will introduce 2 VIP opening sessions on July 11. The afternoon First Look VIP Opening, 2-6pm (benefits Guild Hall) and the Evening VIP Opening, 6-9:30pm, (benefits Parrish Art Museum) to accommodate the demand.
During the July 11 VIP Opening Preview, Parsons Dance company will perform twice in a reserved area in the Collectors Lounge and aisle of the de Kooning Pavilion. First up is a condensed version of Juke, a mesmerizing Jamar Roberts work set to the fabulous Miles Davis piece Bitches Brew that made its world premiere in May during the company’s Joyce Theater season. Beginning at 3:30pm, this afternoon VIP Opening Preview session benefits Guild Hall.
Parsons Dance will also perform the condensed version of the 2004 David Parsons cherished work Shining Star, the high energy romp that the choreographer made for the Alvin American Dance Theatre and Parsons Dance first performed in 2008. Set to music by Earth, Wind and Fire, the piece has been described by The New York Times as “a snazzy-looking, funny and sexy group dance.”

Bolstered by a stunning $10 million in art sales in 2023, the 2024 edition is planning to showcase a record 140+ select galleries and best-in-class sponsors. Expansive and inclusive, galleries and artist theme displays are from 20 counties. Ranging from respected emerging artists to the blue-chip masters, the fair presents a wide range of price points, beginning at $5,000 and running into the 6 and 7 digits.
Judaic artist Libby Klein will present her one-of-a-kind Royal Family Tree, with everyone spotlighted from the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson to Prince Harry and William. The trees can be customized and feature a gold leaf for each member of the family. She will also showcase works embodying the beauty of Israel.
Committed to the Hamptons long and rich tradition as a mecca for the creation and patronage of fine art, HFAF will be recognizing and saluting another set of deserving, but overlooked esteemed local artists at its 2024 Hamptons Artists Hall of Fame induction: artists Herman Cherry and Connie Fox, sculptors Bill Tarr and Bill King and tapestry artisan, Amy Zerner. This features a July 13 ceremony and 4-day artist display. 2024 Spotlight artists are Lucy Cookson, Amaranth Ehrenhalt, Olivier Messas, Ben Miller, Milly Ristvedt and Veronica Ruiz Velasco.
