Billboard honored P!nk with this year’s Woman of the Year award and Janelle Monae with the Rising Star award during a luncheon held at Capitale in New York City. Fun. lead singer Nate Ruess, who wrote and duetted with P!nk on “Just Give Me A Reason” was on hand to toast to the “Raise Your Glass” singer. Indie pop duo Tegan and Sara took the stage for a tribute to P!nk, while Rockers Chvrches and Christina Perri honored Monae.
