The 1st Annual Hamptons “Tour Decor” will take place on Saturday, August 20th. It will include a visit to some of the most exceptional homes and gardens of the East End to raise money for breast cancer. All proceeds from the day will benefit the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Samantha Daniels, a prominent professional matchmaker and author founded the event. Daniels’ mother, Donna Daniels, sadly passed away from breast cancer and the “Tour Decor” was started in her memory.

“Wonderful home decor and romantic gardens was something that my mother truly loved, so it felt organic to create a House Tour in her memory, especially in the Hamptons,” said Daniels. “Her favorite flower was the rubrum lily, so you will see a vase of them at every home.”
Daniels has used her matchmaking skills to create a roster of complementary, magnificent, and unique homes and gardens for attendees to tour throughout the afternoon. Notable Hamptonites have graciously opened their homes for this event, including famed interior designer, Tony Ingram, artist, philanthropist, and wife of the late Senator Frank Lautenberg, Bonnie Lautenberg, Adam Sender, and many more. Homes will range from contemporary to traditional. There will also be an imported and restored barn from the 19th century, an underwater grotto, a petting zoo, a professional basketball court, and a mirrored pool with spa.
Attendees will receive a map of the homes and a ticket to enter each home. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and participants may explore the abodes in whatever order they choose. At 4 p.m., there will be a special opportunity for VIP ticket holders to visit the bonus house as well as attend a cocktail party there.

“I chose The Dubin Center as the recipient of the proceeds because their research and progress in the area of breast cancer is stellar,” said Daniels. “I am looking forward to helping them continue to forge forward in finding a cure for the disease.”
VIP tickets which include brunch, the tour, admission to the bonus house, a VIP cocktail party, and goodie bag are $250. General admission tickets are $140, and day of tour tickets will be sold if available at that point.
The tour will take you to homes in Watermill, Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, and East Hampton. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.hamptonstourdecor.com.
