It should come as no shock that real estate in the Hamptons is pricey, but just which street comes with the most expensive price tag?
According to PropertyShark, who recently released a list naming the top five Most Expensive Streets in the Hamptons, that would be Parsonage Lane in Sagaponack, which boasts a $15 million median home sale price.
“To identify which streets had the highest median home sale price last year in the Hamptons, we looked at every residential transaction of 2018 closed between January and December,” Robert Demeter, who penned the PropertyShark article, relayed. “Two streets posted a median home sale price above $10 million, while six streets had medians between $5 million and $9 million.”
Overall, Sagaponack, Bridgehampton and Southampton are home to some of the area’s priciest streets.
“Sagaponack’s Pasonage Lane poised the highest numbers, the street landing at #1 with a $15 million median home sale price,” Demeter said. “At #2, Jobs Lane in Bridgehampton secured the second spot on our top 10 list, with a median of $10.9 million, while Southampton’s Captains Neck Lane came in third with $8.6 million.”
Montauk’s Old Montauk Highway ($7.9 million median home sale price) came in at fourth place and East Hampton’s Further Lane ($7.3 million median home sale price) rounded out the top five.
“Among the homes that traded were also celebrity homes, including an estate designed by the renowned luxury real estate developer Jeffrey Collé, a former temporary residence of pop-icon Justin Bieber as well as a property once owned by fashion designer Ralph Lauren,” Demeter added.
