The Bob Woodruff Foundation hosted its second annual Veterans Classic at the Westhampton Country Club on Monday, May 22, raising more than $400,000. An exciting performance by the veteran-owned and operated Patriot Parachute Team kicked off the day’s events, which included a golf tournament, pickleball, lunch, dinner, cocktails, and awards ceremony, along with remarks by Anne Marie Dougherty, CEO of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, and members of the Patriot Parachute Team. Supported by event co-chairs Colin Heffron and Mike Hoffman, the proceeds from the event will benefit the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s work to support veterans, service members, and their families. “To all who joined us for our 2nd Annual Veterans Classic and supported our efforts to address food insecurity within our veteran and military community, we are so grateful,” said Dougherty. “In addition, we are so appreciative of our board members Colin Heffron’s and Mike Hoffman’s efforts, who, as event co-chairs, furthered the Foundation’s work to raise awareness about the tough challenges veterans and military families face and to invest in solutions to support them in the next chapter of their lives.”
