Sollis Health Co-Founder Ben Kruger spoke to Hamptons.com about the inspiration for Sollis Health, their unique services and the expansion in Water Mill.
What/Who inspired you to pursue a career in the medical field?
Growing up as the son of a concierge doctor in NYC, I had seen first hand the incredible care and value that a more personalized approach to healthcare could provide. But even though my father could provide unparalleled attention to his patients, when there was an urgent medical need at night or on a weekend or if the patient required specialized services, such as an X-ray or blood work there were no good options.
It was out of the frustration with the experiences his patients had to face in crowded, chaotic, impersonal ERs, that we thought to create an alternative – a membership based concierge solution to urgent and emergency care.

Why did you choose Water Mill? Any other locations in the Hamptons you would like to expand to?

For the last two years, requests for our house-call service in the area were through the roof, so we decided to expand our clinic this summer to continue to deliver upon our commitment to providing our members with best in class service with no wait times or appointments.
