Tarot Tauk Tarotscopes – Aquarius Season

Diane Ferraroby Diane Ferraro
in Entertainment, Trending
Home Entertainment

Welcome to the monthly Tarotscope series by Diane Ferraro of Tarot Tauk. Diane has randomly pulled a Tarot card for each zodiac sign, blending hints of astrology and divination guidance from the Tarot to create a personalized outlook for the Aquarius season (Jan. 20 – Feb. 17 2023). You are encouraged to read your Tarotscope for your sun sign, moon sign and rising sign to get a full breadth of insight for your unique experience. If you don’t know your moon or rising sign, reading the Tarotscope for your sun sign will certainly suffice. If you’d like to learn more about your natal chart, feel free to contact Diane and request a consultation. May the cards bring you joy, and clarity and help you to feel supported and seen.

Aries: March 20 – April 19

Queen of Swords

With the first breath of dawn, light shines on all the broken pieces: fields, bones, and ice. You stand here, Aries, on the cusp of saying what needs to be said, no matter to whom, because it is time. You’re destined to speak from the depth of your fiery heart, horns at bay and buttressed. Prepare your language and come forward. It’s been a battle these past few months while your ruling planet Mars stationed retrograde up until January 12. There were missed opportunities, sad chance encounters, and several almost-made-its. Nothing has been lost that needed to go anyway, so while the malaise might linger, none of it was meant for you. Healthy boundaries are of the utmost importance now, and more than anything, your internal boundaries need bolstering. Meaning: enough with regret and rather recommit to making yourself a priority. Unapologetically stand up for what you believe in. All the broken pieces still have a home.

Taurus: April 20 – May 20

Queen of Wands

When you dared to enter the hearth of your heart, Taurus, you agreed to reconcile what Venus stationing retrograde put forth for you this time last year: a renewal of your vows which always include making your life luxurious. Remember what you promised yourself at the start of 2022? I do: a re-commitment to not settling for anything less than what you deserve. It’s time to double down on that dedication in 2023, and the Queen of Wands emboldens you to work your magic to make this happen. You started off strong, though somewhere along the line you wondered if you bit off more than you can chew. I assure you: that one bright and beautiful dream that you’ve been wanting to breathe life into is still your heart’s deepest desire. Beating around the burning bush is wearing you down, and fear has gotten a tad bit in the way. You’re afraid of what you’ll have to lose in order to step into this next phase of your personal growth and development. This queen is not going to sit by and watch you waste time on endeavors that drain your energy without the promise of replenishment. Leveling up for you is long past due, and the discomfort of playing small is more evident than ever. You’ve got the moxie. Wield it.

Gemini: May 21 – June 20

Ten of Cups

Brace yourself for the waterworks, Gemini. There’s no need to hold your breath, waiting for the other shoe to drop. You’re in the clear. This watershed of long-held anguish is a by-product of your ruling planet Mercury stationing retrograde until January 18, and the subsequent shadow period which will last an additional couple of weeks. When Mercury is retrograde, we anticipate blips in communication and that includes our ability to decode our own thoughts and emotions. It’s been a rough road since the third week of December, however, Ten of Cups is your ark beneath the rainbow during an otherwise tenuous time, reassuring you that grace is our ability to hold joy and grief in our hands simultaneously. Imagine the rise and fall of the ocean, and how her wild hallmark doesn’t cause us to demonize her. We respect her shifting landscape and if we’re seaworthy, approach her accordingly or else watch from the safety of the land. You have a choice: navigate to the best of your abilities and ride out the storm with prowess, or brace yourself in the sturdiness of the lighthouse. There is no right or wrong way to approach life’s ups and downs. More than anything, trust the soundness of your own vessel and ride this tide in whatever manner you see fit.

Cancer: June 21 – July 21

Nine of Wands

You’ve got a choice, Cancer: drop it like it’s hot or stick to your guns and give it all the gusto you’ve got. It’s true that we often give up just before we reach success. The Nine of Wands recognizes that it’s been no easy feat getting this far and if you’ve reached your limit, no one could blame you for jumping ship. Tap out or not, there is a deep longing to build something significant whether that be a project, relationship, or physical aspect of yourself. Correct me if I’m wrong: you’re beginning to question if what you originally envisioned is still what you want. It may be that your goal needs some tweaking rather than complete abandonment. You’re close to actualizing a new reality that you’ve been conjuring for some time, and it centers around you stepping more fully into your creative nature. You’ve got a fire in your belly to expand your emotional and psychological horizons and while you know you’re on the cusp of materializing this dream, you’re exhausted and hitting a wall. Aquarius season is asking you to consider the bigger picture and take a step back to get a bird’s eye view of your situation. Think about how your desire will impact the greater good. There’s something important for you to accomplish that will bring a great amount of benefit to society as a whole. Regardless of whether you choose to pursue or diffuse, your main focus should be on expansion, brilliant concepts, and what you bring to the table, now or in the future.

Leo: July 22 – August 22

The Sun

Daring Leo, The Sun is your card in the Tarot that affiliates with your sign and the ruling planet, so when it came through for you this Aquarius season, the first thing I thought was: kismet. And also: it’s time. You’re being called into a space of courage to let yourself be seen as your authentic self, even and especially if that means confronting your hesitation around being vulnerable. Does vulnerability frighten you? Here’s the paradox: we often want others to be vulnerable with us though very rarely do we want to expose our soft underbelly. We want to get close to others but we’re afraid of getting hurt and being rejected. You’ve been moving through a period of deep consideration around what you want from this life, and authentic connection is at the top of your list. Being vulnerable is the key to intimacy, so there’s no way around facing this fear if you want the joy that comes with authentic connection. Whenever we open our hearts to another, there is the inherent risk of getting hurt. To help overcome this unfortunate truth, lean into the wisdom of Aquarius season and remember that while our hearts do the hard emotional labor needed for relationships, there is a philosophical approach to being in relationships that allows us to see things from a high-minded place. Embrace the bird’s eye view, even if it means singeing a feather or two.

Virgo: August 23 – September 21

Nine of Cups

Congrats to you Virgo: your card for the airy Aquarius season is the water-based Nine of Cups. We’re covering all bases, you Earth-centric sign, you. Any other zodiacal baby might breathe a sigh of relief, but given your nature to double and triple-check that all bases are indeed covered, you’re still looking over your shoulder for any clues of lingering disappointment and doubt. “When will the other shoe drop?” is your anguished albeit softly spoken battle cry. It’s your nature to be thorough, and guess what: you’re right. There is just one element missing, and it’s the fire that drives your intention toward securing your emotional base. I hear you silently screaming “Get to the point.” Fine: Nine of Cups invites you to take a break from your impulse to control your surroundings and the outcome of your actions and rather invest in your intentions. In other words, let go of that which you cannot control, take action on what you can control, and discern between the two, all the while doing your best. Serenity now! Your heart holds wisdom on par with your cherished boots-on-the-ground approach to accomplishing goals. And you, Virgo, more often than not have your heart in the right place regardless of whether anyone else recognizes that. Nine of Cups is the quintessential wish card, and wishes are not what Virgo is built upon. You’re accustomed to hard work that pays off. Keep at it, while trusting you’re going through a cycle of great prosperity and much-deserved joy. You’ve earned this bounty of boons. Erase the word “guilty” before “pleasures” and Aquarius season will feel like one big party in your honor.

Libra: September 23 – October 22

Death

Transformation at its finest shows up for you this Aquarius season, Libra. You’ve been systematically moving through sizeable changes and the Death card is here to ease the transition from what you’ve always known toward what awaits you. Change is challenging, and challenges aren’t your forte. Keeping the peace, steadying the apple cart, mitigating damage…all fall under your area of expertise. As the sign of the scales and intrinsic balance paired with justice, change is unpredictable and its law lies in trusting the process. The energetic medicine of the Death card implores you to trust yourself most importantly, and that is something at which you’re rather accomplished. At your best, you are dedicated to ensuring a sound outcome even at the cost of temporary discomfort. When feeling drained and off your game, you’re more inclined to cling to mediocrity when faced with the cost of inherent loss that is essential for evolution. Growing pains are named for what they are, and the reaching and stretching of the bones ache you to the core. Consider the caterpillar in her chrysalis: the mystical womb of alchemy and gold on the other side. And even then, nothing gold can stay. This transitional period is moving you toward greatness and under the banner of Aquarius season, that can only mean good for a greater purpose. Celebrate impermanence. There is relief in the release.

Scorpio: October 23 – November 22

Knight of Swords

A breath of fresh air is what you’ve been waiting for, Scorpio. Knight of Swords is here to deliver you from the heaviness of the past twelve months as the 2022 eclipse season in your axis brought about challenging albeit necessary changes. The Knight of Swords is the wind beneath your wings during airy Aquarius season and heaven knows you could use an uplift, quick fast in a hurry, please and thank you. All the re-evaluating, restructuring, and reconnoitering you championed in 2022 is coming to fruition in the form of applicable action. Now is the time to make your move and initiate that which you’ve been dreaming into being. This feels big and somehow related to society benefiting from your actions, such as a new career direction that helps make the world a better place, new ways of interacting in relationships to create harmonious interpersonal connections, and perhaps even an invention that you might wish to patent. The fastest moving noble in the deck, Knight of Swords doesn’t pussyfoot around and as the warrior of communication, there is an element of direct speech that wants to be communicated as well. This may be the time to “have the talk” with whoever needs to hear you out. Do what you gotta do, and say what you need to say.

Sagittarius: November 22 – December 20

The Hermit

Alone is where you like it these days, Sag, and fair enough: you get your best answers when you talk to yourself. There’s a reason why having too many cooks in the kitchen breeds disaster. If there’s anything you’d like to avoid this Aquarius season, and any season for that matter, it’s chaos. The Hermit ensures that the solitary provides solace, and self-reflection is the recipe for great wisdom. Don’t take it from me. “Knowing thyself is the beginning of all wisdom,” said Aristotle, the dude who made renowned contributions to the arena of philosophy, schooling peeps like Alexander the Great as well as the likes of you and me. The Hermit reminds us that the greatest teacher is within each of us, and the greatest knowledge one can have revolves around contemplating and investigating the mysteries of oneself. Hermit energy is not always comfortable and implores us to have the courage to face each aspect of ourselves, including and especially the areas we reject and repress. By going to the places within ourselves that might seem daunting, we are mining for gold in the form of self-awareness. Once we know ourselves, there is nothing external that can have power or influence over us. We remember that we are sovereign and whole. As the adventurer of the zodiac, you love a good ride, Sag. The path of self-awareness is like playing with Russian dolls: each layer vacillates between covering and exposing that which lies within us. The Hermit provides refuge for this kind of journey. Take all the time you need and know you’re in good company along the way.

Capricorn: December 21 – January 19

Seven of Swords

You’re being followed by a moonshadow, Capi. Coming off the (fish) tails of your birthday season, you’d hope to feel more grounded and as the cardinal Earth sign, ground-bound is exactly where you prefer to be. This Aquarius season ushers in an airy vibe and equally airy Seven of Swords beseeches you to explore what it is that you’re trying to find. Insecurity is in the air. Something feels stealthy in your midst and you’re not comfortable with the lurking shadows that threaten to expose your deepest fears. You’re concerned that you’re overlooking something important, that something or someone has eluded your careful eye. There is a haunting sensation that you’re missing out on something, akin to FOMO though this sense of lack resonates more with the soul than the ego. This period might feel like an existential crisis in the macro sense and “Did I turn the coffee pot off?” in the micro sense. This feeling of “not enoughness” isn’t a reflection of you doing anything wrong, though your perfectionist tendencies might tempt you to think otherwise. As industrious as you are, you can’t be everywhere at once. There is an inherent loss in every choice we make: we say “yes” to one thing and “no” to another. As much as you love the material realm, you can’t take it all with you, though you may feel compelled to cling to whatever you can get a grip on. There is an invitation to release the need to control any and all outcomes this Aquarius season, Capi, and you can start by disabusing yourself of the notion that you are responsible for everything and everyone. Focus on yourself, your goals, and remember that when you’re feeling self-secure you help tip the scales in favor of the best outcome for all.

Aquarius: January 20 – February 17

Six of Wands

Happy Birthday season, Aquarius! As the ruler of the 11th zodiacal house, you’re here to go big AND go home. Home is where your heart is as you’re committed to filling environments large and small with possibility and potential. You bring big air energy to every conference call, town hall meeting, and social gathering you attend, and others count on you to offer up out-of-the-box concepts that help the rest of us get unstuck from the muck of mediocrity. Six of Wands is your card for your birthday season, bringing in big fire energy to really stoke those flames of innovation. There is something you’ve been pouring much thought into and this zodiacal season of yours implores you to bring your imagination to life. Whatever you’re conjuring, the greater whole of society will benefit from its manifestation and implementation. We’re all waiting with bated breath for you to unleash your unconventional genius like a benefic mad scientist and save us from the doldrums of our own limited thinking. There is a universal cause for celebration at the unfurling of your philosophical freak flag and we’re counting on you to be a positive change agent. While you’re accustomed to standing alone to defend your ideals and ways of doing things, the Six of Wands suggests you’re more likely to be carried on shoulders like a hero. You’re coming to the rescue of many a weary soul, mind, and spirit, and the accolades might include an icy pour over the head from the sidelines so brace yourself for a win that’s sure to shock the system.

Pisces: February 18 – March 19

Three of Pentacles

Get the aces in their places, Pisces. You’ve got work to do this Aquarius season and you’re up for the challenge, though the only way to efficiently move forward is by calibrating the team you’re surrounding yourself with and making sure the environment you’re working in is sustainable. Three of Pentacles is calling in the experts: we’re not interested in pairing you with subpar talent. Only the best will do. You’re striving to perform at the top of your game and it only makes sense to associate with others who are equally dedicated to excellence. Aquarius season has a way of thinning the herd as the focus is on beneficial outcomes for the greater good. Don’t be surprised if your inherent super psychic abilities cause you to pause and re-evaluate whether individuals, systems, and institutions you’ve trusted in the past still earn the badge of being trustworthy. Ruled by dreamy Neptune, your Piscean nature tends to overlook the bad and see the good in everyone and everything. This Aquarius season, the Three of Pentacles is helping you more closely identify with your Spidey sense to identify what’s not working. Airy and thus verbose Aquarius season encourages us to say something if we see something. Speak up if injustice is causing harm to those you love as well as to those you’ll never meet in this lifetime. People who need people are the luckiest people. Stand up for who and what you believe in. Even the elephant in the room is counting on you.

We’re all bombarded with New Year, New Me posts on Instagram and TikTok as health takes center stage in everyone’s 2026 goals. Many choose to participate in “Dry January,” a challenge that encourages participants to take a break from alcohol. Non-alcoholic alternatives are also a great option for those who want to join the bar crawl without the stigma of holding a water bottle. With help from our friends at Kidd Squid Brewery, we sampled a variety of options at their tasting room in Sag Harbor. Here are our top picks.

1. Wölffer Estate: Spring in a Bottle Rose

You can’t go anywhere in the Hamptons without grabbing a glass of Wolffer’s iconic Rosé. Don’t fret! You can still enjoy the iconic, vibrant, fruity taste with their non-alcoholic version.

Tasting notes: It’s no surprise that it is a favorite in The Hamptons. The lack of alcohol doesn’t affect the rich, elegant rose, peach, and apple notes. This is a delicious, fresh, sparkling rosé.

2. Hedlum

Is a locally owned company that produces crispy non-alcoholic beers that perfectly mirror their alcoholic counterparts. I tried their Easy Down Lager, and it was perfect!

Tasting notes: It pours out like a beer with a nice frothy top layer. It is crisp and smooth and reminds me of a Sapporo.

3. Aplós

Another locally owned company that produces non-alcoholic drinks crafted by award-winning mixologists. I fell in love with their credo, “Life should be sipped slowly.” I tried their Chili Margarita and loved the sparkling citrus notes with a bit of a kick. It’s infused with adaptogens and nootropics, which are thought to reduce stress, elevate your mood, and overall just deliver that perfect chill for any social setting.

Tasting notes: Crisp and tangy, with very strong citrus notes, this reminded me of kombucha. It was very refreshing.

  • When Jesse Bongiovi launched Hampton Water Wine Co. with his dad, Jon Bon Jovi, in 2018, he helped redefine what modern rosé could look and feel like—sun-soaked, effortless, and rooted in moments shared with the people you love.

Now, with the growth of Lily Pond Group, he’s expanding that vision far beyond the bottle. Influenced by years spent in the Hamptons’ uniquely relaxed and refined culture, Jesse’s approach to brand-building is all about capturing a feeling: the blend of ease, taste, and connection that defines a perfect summer day out East.

With Lily Pond Group’s emerging portfolio—including Hampton Water, Five Springs, and Mezcal Mezul—Jesse is shaping brands that stand for more than just good drinks. They’re grounded in storytelling, authenticity, and community, with the kind of cultural resonance that turns a product into a lifestyle.

Jesse spoke more about how he got started, how the Hamptons informed his approach, and what he sees on the horizon for the next generation of lifestyle brands.

When did you come up with the concept for Hampton Water and decide to move forward with it?

JB: We saw an opportunity to change the narrative around rosé and the idea of “rosé season.” We wanted something sophisticated but still fun and easygoing, something that reflected the lifestyle we love. When we connected with Gérard Bertrand, it all clicked. The quality in the juice matched the story we wanted to tell, and that’s when we knew we had something special.

  • What began as a shared dream between two young farming apprentices has grown into a year-round nonprofit that feeds, teaches, and welcomes thousands of people each season. Today, co-founders Amanda Merrow and Katie Baldwin continue to nurture the land while carrying out their mission to educate and inspire through food and farming.

From securing ownership of their farmland to expanding their programs, opening a year-round market, and welcoming visitors to explore the property, Amber Waves has become an essential piece of the East End’s agricultural and cultural landscape. Amanda and Katie spoke about their journey, the mission that continues to guide them, and the vision behind one of the most meaningful community-driven farms on Long Island.

What core mission drives the farm today, and how has that mission evolved since the beginning?

Amanda & Katie: We met in 2008 while completing a farming apprenticeship at Quail Hill Farm where we both discovered our shared love of farming. By that July, we were already dreaming up ways to continue farming together in Amagansett. When we founded Amber Waves Farm, our vision was to build something greater than ourselves—something that would outlive us. Our original idea, the “Amagansett Wheat Project,” grew out of a daydream to create a “pizza farm,” and our name, Amber Waves, pays homage to grain production—a line from the song “America the Beautiful”. From the beginning, we chose to be a nonprofit because our mission—to teach and connect people through food and farming—has always been at the heart of what we do.

  • Philanthropist, TV host, author and longtime supporter and chairwoman of the Viennese Opera Ball Jean Shafiroff hosted and underwrote a reception with over 100 guests at her New York residence to officially kick off the 70th Annual Viennese Opera Ball, one of New York’s oldest and most prestigious white-tie galas celebrating Austrian culture, diplomacy, and the enduring friendship between Austria and the United States.

“The Viennese Opera Ball represents elegance, culture, and the timeless beauty of the arts,” said Jean Shafiroff. “It is a privilege to host this gathering in celebration of its 70th year as we honor tradition while supporting the next generation of artistic excellence. As a past honoree and chairwoman, I look forward to the 70th Anniversary Gala and am excited to chair it once again.”
