The Labor Day weekend brings the return of the 6th Annual Westhampton Festival of the Arts with another line-up of spectacular artists and artwork. Ranked among the Top 50 fine art festivals in the country since its inception in 2009, it is also the largest outdoor fine art festival on Long Island.
The reputation of this festival reflects the incredible artistic talents of the national and international artisans that attend the event coupled with the extraordinary support from the residents of the Westhampton area and the thousands of visitors that attend the festival each year. One of the most unique aspects of the Westhampton Festival of the Arts is the rare opportunity to meet and interact with the artisans. Whether casual art buyer or avid collector, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how each artisan came to their art form, how they were trained and how they are inspired.

Moving from individual artist kiosk to kiosk, visitors to the festival can explore the world of art in the breathtaking creations of painters, jewelers, photographers, sculptors and woodworkers and purchase spectacular original works by artisans working in glass, ceramics, fiber art, metalwork and mixed-media. Unlike many East End art festivals, the Westhampton Beach Festival of the Arts is integrated into the village itself, not isolated on a fairground. A great weekend to take in some art while strolling Main Street in the Hamptons’ closest village to Manhattan.
The Westhampton Festival of the Arts is directed by Paragon Fine Art Events, one of the East Coast’s premier organizers of fine art festivals. The festival runs Saturday, August 30, 10-6 and Sunday, August 31, 11-6. Located on the Great Lawn across from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Westhampton Beach, admission and parking is free.
