Starting Wednesday, May 20th through Sunday, May 31st, Southampton Artists Association’s (SAA) annual Memorial Day Exhibit will be on display at the Levitas Center for the Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center. The exhibition will showcase a range of art works including photography, paintings, drawings, and sculptures, all from End End artists, both professionals and non-professionals.
“The mission of the organization continues to be to extend local artist members the opportunity to display their works in a Southampton gallery and to support local art activities wherever possible,” noted Dom Lamontanaro, SAA president.
An opening reception, which is open to the public, will take place on Sunday, May 24th from 4 to 6 p.m.
SAA is a not for profit organization that celebrates the local Southampton art community. Founded 28 years ago, SAA holds four annual exhibits, giving East End residents and visitors the opportunity to buy affordable framed art and photography and drawing prints from local artists.
