A number of local artists are celebrating the season as part of the Southampton Artists Association’s Winter Art Show. Held at Southampton Cultural Center’s Levitas Center for the Arts, the exhibition will debut on Wednesday, February 15th and remain on view through Sunday, February 26th.
This event is the Association’s first event of the year, and one of their four annual shows, which include this February winter exhibition, as well as their Memorial Day Show, Labor Day Show and Fall Art Show in November.

Southampton Artists Association is unique in the sense that it’s comprised solely of artists that reside locally. Artists from the North Fork and South Fork, professional to amateur, are given the opportunity to present their work in a formal setting thanks to SAA’s art shows.
“SAA was founded in 1989 to give local artists the chance to showcase their works,” explained Dom Lamontanoro, PhD, SAA President. “Among our members are award winning professionals and dedicated artists of all styles.”
An opening reception for the Winter Art Show will be held on Saturday, February 18th, from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
